From 2008 I have built, improved and re-designed and maintained multiple iterations of the content distribution infrastructure for a large American podcast. This includes simple file replication across multiple servers, and a 24/7 audio station that supports both pre-recorded content and live show broadcasts.</p><p>The latest version of this infra has taught me a lot about NixOS, specifically. This system also has geo-location aware DNS, as an alternative to more costly alternatives, as well as a wireguard VPN for secure communications between servers.</p><p>I enjoy to work as a Linux system administrator, to maintain ZFS storage pools, email with security in place e.g. DMARC, and maintaining DNS, with DNSSEC.</p>
